Panora Ltd went out of business in 1989; its negatives from pre-1968 pictures are lost, believed destroyed in a fire. Under British law, copyright in pre-1988 photographs is owned by the person who commissioned them. Therefore it is believed that copyright in this photograph is owned by the Head Teacher and Governors of The Sir John Nelthorpe School.

This photograph was kindly posted to us by William L Clark (BGS, 1944-1952), whose younger brother Robert also attended the School.
