Brigg High School for Girls was founded in 1919. Its "new" buildings erected in 1937 now form SJN's Lower School. |
In 1976 the Grammar School was merged with the Girls' High School to form The Sir John Nelthorpe School - SJN. |

Association membership is open to The Foundation Governors, past pupils of Brigg Grammar School and Brigg Girls High School (to 31/8/1976), Staff and past pupils of the Sir John Nelthorpe School and students of Brigg Sixth Form College (from 1/9/1976).
Briggensians has members of all ages and in all walks of life, living all over the globe. The internet has made it much easier for Briggensians to keep in touch with one another and with Sir John Nelthorpe School.
Life membership is a mere £5.00 for those who have already left school or college. Download an application form from the Library.
We update the site regularly. Visit often! Help us by sending in news, pictures (see below) and reminiscences. If you're organising a local reunion or want to get back in touch with someone, let us know. Use the Contact page to - well - contact us.
